Haunted Complex 2018

Halloween is finally upon us, meaning that the Haunted Complex event at Richcraft Recreation Complex is all wrapped up!

This year's volunteer group worked very hard, with a very short time-line, and provided some amazing works of art for our Trick or Treat Village.

The group managed to build 8 houses out of wardrobe boxes. We had quite the little town set up in our gymnasium for our Friday evening event.

Over 3-hours, we had over 800 members of the community come through our facility. The younger children came trick-or-treating at our "houses." Some houses had candy and treats, while others had tricks! The children had to put their hands inside the opening on the houses to feel if they were getting a trick or a treat. Our tricks included: eyeballs (whole olives), guts (cooked and oiled spaghetti), fingers (hot dogs), and baby teeth (popcorn kernels).

Our volunteer group was very impressive this year. Their creativity and talent made for a spooky Halloween at Richcraft!
