A Spook-Tacular Halloween 2017!

Happy Halloween!

The Haunted Complex event at Richcraft is over! This was the largest holiday event that the facility has ever hosted, with over 1,000 members of the public coming through our facility in just a few hours.

Our student helpers were very busy getting the Trick or Treat Village all set and the kids really appreciated their efforts.

Each "house" in Trick or Treat Village had a different spooky trick for the kids to feel.

We had a couple cups of troll snot, a bowl of guts, a nice fresh bone, some eyeballs, and a bowl of baby teeth that we borrowed from the Tooth Fairy.

Many of our trick or treaters (and their parents) enjoyed sticking their hands inside our houses and feeling these spooky surprises.

The houses in Trick or Treat Village looked fantastic! Using simple materials like cardboard boxes, paint, hot glue, and streamers our student helpers created a very festive atmosphere for all of our visitors.

Overall, everything went very well. We had some messes to clean up and some kids that were hesitant to approach our houses, but our helpers were able to keep everyone's energy up and keep things fun for everyone.

We learned a lot about hosting events for the community and we can't wait to get started on our next event: Richcraft's Holiday event in early December.
