West is Best!
What a great last week of summer weather and a nice intro to fall! We are excited to get moving into fall and get started on some of our great upcoming events!
We went to the Carp Fair on Friday September 22 to hand out lollipops and talk to students about the Recreation Empowering Active Community Helpers program. Thankfully there were lots of students interested in R.E.A.C.H., so we were able to hand out our lollipops before the heat melted them all!
We also visited West Carleton Secondary School on September 29 during lunch to spread more love for R.E.A.C.H. and hand out, you guessed it, lollipops! It's great that so many students at West are looking to get involved in their communities. We got a few more sign-ups from just being in the foyer! Thanks so much! If any more West students want to sign up, check out our binder in the Guidance Office! We'll see you again on November 1 for Discovery Day!
